Thetis was one of the 50 Neriides. Zeus fell in love with her, but when informed by another goddess Themis that Thetis would bring in the world a son who would be stronger than his father, Zeus decided to marry Thetis with a mortal husband, Peleus. Thetis had a son, Achilles, the hero of Trojan war that we all know about .

According to one version of the myth she sank the child in the river Styx, holding it by the heel. All points were invulnerable, but the heel stayed dry and Achilles acquired the vulnerable point.

Thetis room “borrows” all elements of decoration from the ethereal presence of Thetis. As a Nereid who is strongly related to the unruly waters and the sea, she has as emblematic colors the blue of the sea, the white arrogant of the foam of the sea and the light golden from the sand.

These are the colors of the room, which create a dreamy summer atmosphere that fascinates visitors and integrates them directly into the serenity climate characterizing Koufonisia.
